SUPPORT TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHILDREN IN PEPELJUGA NURSERY SCHOOL

`Pepeljuga` nursery, one of 17 Nis nursery schools within `Pcelica` institution is enriched with new toys. The equipping of the space is the beginning of the adaptation one of the oldest nurseries in the town that will celebrate anniversary 30 years on June 22 2012. Heading to this jubilee, the delegation of Palilula Municipality visited the children and the employed of this nursery and gave as a present children toys with certain certificates of quality standards in the value of 105,500,00 dinars.

For the youngest we should always wish the best but in nurseries of Nis especially in those who have been active before many decades, frequently is missing something which is the most important to the children – new toys. That is why we have decided, says PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, that the youngest should make happier with the valuable gift. Mobiliar contains house, tunnel in a shape of an animal, toboggan and one separate toboggan with small basket net.

This donation will mean a lot to children of our nursery, together with the greens for the garden and these new toys emphasizes Nada Petkovic, nurse in Pepeljuga. Our nursery school was founded in 1982 and this year we are having jubilee - 30 years of work. According to Petkovic, 10 educational groups with 300 children are active. Two more preparation type separate groups organized in `Branko Mijlkovic` school belong also to Pepeljuga.

The children immediately choose the toys and started playing with them.

According to Ivana Todorov, assistant of director of Pcelica, this institution tries to equip well all nursery schools belonging to Pcelica, since we are living in the times where the biggest problem represent money there is always something missing. The worst condition is present in long being active nurseries and they need significant reconstruction. Pepeljuga started working 30 years ago, says Todorov. You can see now how does this object look like after 30 years of usage. Certainly we should invest more into adaptation of this space so that the announcing of Palilula authorities about adaptation of facade and interior of this Nursery is very encouraging.
